A metric shit-ton of NYers came out to line the Hudson River watching the hospital ship come up to Pier 90 to dock. NYPD wasn’t moving to disperse the crowds until DeBlasio called them to do so.

DeBlasio has also been slow to shut down playgrounds and other common spaces to keep dispersing crowds.

Even in my town, people tend to congregate together when they shouldn’t.

My Zip code is one of the hottest hot zones in Michigan. The kosher bodega WHERE EVERYONE GETS THEIR PASSOVER SUPPLIES is a nexus, just as it was a year ago for measles. Unfortunately there is no where else to buy most of this stuff. The local supermarkets (Meijer, Kroger) are not much better. At least my son is here to do the shopping.

When I was cleaning out one of the bathroom cabinets I found a box of surgical masks that my daughter bought during last year’s measles outbreak. Not N95’s but we can wear them when we go out.
