Had a phone call with my oldest sister yesterday. It’s really odd how someone can sound completely normal for 20 minutes and then go down the fucking rabbit hole. I learned that “illegals” are being bussed around the country and that this is the reason we can’t get a handle on covid, and other miscellaneous shit (“Biden’s an ass!”) that just caused me no end of disappointement. She’s my big sis (bigger sis, I guess) and I love her, but goddamn….I hate having to avoid calling people because they’ve become fucking nuts.

Do you at least tell her when things she says are not based in reality?
People have come back from seeming entirely hopeless when they stop consuming far-right propaganda.
