We’ve been running various flavors of Ubuntu and Mint for about 20 years. It’s tremendously stable. I don’t have deep IT skills, so I bred and raised a Penguinista. Gotta play the Long Game.

I have nothing against linux, I have been using various flavors of it since the release of slackware. I just have a problem with the I don’t have to worry about patches and viruses attitude. Some of the worst corporate compromises I have found have come from someone who set up a linux server and then forgot about it. Great, it will run forever… with 6 bot nets and a bitcoin miner you never know about running in the background.
