Sadly, too many Catholics have joined the wingnutosphere. Galvanized by radical anti-abortion groups like Operation Rescue and “decency” blowhards like Brent Bozell, a vocal minority of Catholics are now almost indistinguishable from the zealots on the Evangelical right. They’ve even developed a persecution complex, evidenced by the so-called Catholic League (aka, Bill Donahue and the voices in his head.)

Don’t get me wrong, most Catholics are pretty sensible and a majority voted for and still support Obama, but we’ve got some obnoxious religious right wannabes.

How is it the religious right is so terribly wrong?
