A lot of their ‘other’ work in the community simply continues the spiral though. Suing a bank to make a loan for someone who can not afford it does no good for anyone. From what I have read recently about these organizations I truly believe none of them should get federal money, just like churches get no federal dollars. I understand the I might hurt little leagues and such with the rule, but so many ‘community service’ organizations are front groups for more insidious entities…and the current batch of terrorists know how to use front groups to raise money.

The problem as I see it, is the politics involved. Follow me, if you like. ACORN and groups like them, work with the poor. The poor have a large minority population, minorities tend to be Democrats, and ACORN thus leans to the left, as I do.
I intend no racial bias in those comments, it’s just the facts of the case.
