A few weeks back, one of my coworkers was talking about getting an AK-47 for home defense.

“Oh. Do you have a big problem with roving bands of marauding bandits around your apartment complex in your neighborhood of San Diego?”

I didn’t even mention the enormous stash of survival supplies, such as tactical bacon, these folks have. Obviously each nut thinks his individual redoubt is so important the looter hordes will devote an army of zombies to besieging it for months on end.
