You’re not understanding my position. I can understand the argument (but not agree with it) about not showing something because it’s insulting and degrading. Once you ask me to adhere to the ridiculous taboos some religions have, you lose me entirely. I’m not obligated (and no American should be obligated) to adhere to taboos. Your argument would have been stronger (in my eyes) if you had stuck with the insulting degrading part.
