Thing is that volcanoes inject SO2 into the stratosphere. That essentially reflects sunlight. So it should have a cooling effect. So maybe we can ask for a “credit”

Anyway, AGW catastrophists will say that cooling things off won’t matter much because CO2 will still have accumulated to levels higher than they are now so once the cooling effect is gone the warming will resume.
