Speaking of the AP having a need to write something, anything, here’s a new AP story that tries just that:

I don;t know, I suppose it’s fair game on some level. Although it’s not really important a lot of people made a big deal that RNC didn’t mention Afghanistan or whatever. Although these conventions are just window dressing for public display, what they chose to display or not is open to discussion and criticism. It’s not a big deal but it says something about the desired focus of the event.
