BO is a classic “Tabula Rasa”. A blank screen onto which people can project all their hopes and dreams.

If you ask ten different Obama voters “what does Obama stand for?” you will get ten different answers. Each answer will be what the individual voter wants to hear, and virtually none of those things will be in anyway supported by anything BO has actually said.

That is why he is so popular- he can be presented as whatever people want him to be because there is no evidence to the contrary due to his lack of a significant public record.

This is known as a Rorschach Candidate.
