I’ve been lucky. No food poisoning, but an overdose of red chilis in some dishes has had some interesting effects.
Our first international trip together was Mexico.
It involved salmonella, a doctor, and drugs that aren’t prescribed anymore in the US because of potentially fatal side effects that can wait up to a year to manifest.
I figure China should be relatively straightforward after that. :)
