The LA times poll is a Daily tracking poll. They are polling the same people over and over again so they can get a picture of how opinions are changing over time. It is a perfectly valid poll that provides useful information about trends. It just probably shouldn’t be in the RCP average.

Wouldn’t a significant number of those same people already have made their minds up who they are going to vote for? I mean how many of us change our minds day to day about who we are going to vote for POTUS?
