You campaign for all the states, or you write them off. There is no middle ground.

Trump had surrogates in every state, even states that he was bound to lose (like California). The GOP understands this.

What Clinton did really wasn’t that different from 2008 and 2012 under Obama. Listen, I’m sorry if your state’s been neglected. You’re not totally wrong there. We do need to run candidates for Congress here. I’m not saying I 100% agree with the DNC’s strategy. I merely said there is definitely a lot of ignorance in those bright red areas that no amount of campaigning will change. And let me be blunt, it’s because a lot of those people are bigoted and don’t want to hear about an America that is for someone other than a heterosexual white person.
