I always hate when Teddy has to take antibiotics or pain killers. They make him sick, and there’s vomit to clean up if I don’t time his eating and taking the pills right. Usually, I feed him chicken and rice, wait about 1-2 hours then give him yogurt and pumpkin after he takes the pill. Luckily, he’s not had to take either very often (3-4 times in his life). Also, Teddy takes pills like a dream. If he’s eating kibble, I can just trow them into his food bowl otherwise it gets squished in some cheese.

We were really good with just quality dog food from the bag until she had to do antibiotics as part of heart worm regimen. Then we had to add some moist can food or rice/chicken/broth to the kibble. She won’t go back to just kibble.
