OT - fellow New Yorkers/tri-state region - my phone just beeped to inform that the winter storm watch has been upgraded to a Winter Storm Warning for most of our area for tomorrow night/Wed morning. Everyone be careful as it’s also supposed to be crazy cold.

In all seriousness, the cold won’t be as awful as 2 weeks ago with the “polar vortex”, but snow will be pretty significant. 6-10 inches in the city and Nassau (probably more towards 10 in Nassau), 10-14 in Suffolk.

Most storms are worst “north and west” of the city when it comes to snowfall totals, but not this one. If you’re in Orange County or the Poconos, you’ll only see a couple of inches.
