Thank goodness he did, or McConnell would be running the Senate, and there would be no relief bill at all.

I’m just curious why he thinks these actions will help him when it comes time for reelection. He seems to be relying on the idea that Democrats will have no other choice. Eventually, Democrats do get tired of that.
