Rick Scott, Scott Walker, and Nikki Haley have rejected federal funds for health care, rail, and the like, out of no other principle than hating liberals. This directly translates to, among other things, lost jobs and money, some of which would have gone directly to tribal Conservativists. I guarantee that the number of tribal Conservativists voting for them has not changed a jot over these actions.
