My sympathies to you and all involved with this brave soldier. We’ve got a son in Afghanistan and it’s getting a bit ‘tense’ over there-and at our house.

Please G-d your son will be okay. Good on him, and good on you.

It was so surprising, because, being the winter months, we’d let our “worrying” guard down a bit considering Taliban resurgencies are often done in summer.

And yet …..

Our prayers are with you. Hopefully you haven’t been too spooked. You know that while it’s dangerous, they are at least inflicting far more casualties than we are sustaining.

For us, however, the war is over…..
