It’s why I always come by - to learn some archaic scam, dodge, or flim-flam with which to dazzle the pigeons.
Perhaps you guys have heard of “peelers” the folks who used to split high-denomination bills with a razor-blade through their thickness and then paste these tow “peels” on either side of another split low-denomination bill. If handed quickly to a mark, he’d have no idea to check the other side to confirm denomination. You could turn a ten dollar bill into two ten dollar bills with a razor, a one dollar bill, and little bit of time.
Folks who got caught doing this tended to get their fingers broken and/or their hands smashed with a hammer by their victims. Very dangerous.
