Well, my wife the former Libertarian Party member would disagree with sentiment, but then again she is no longer a member of the Libertarian Party. She joined the Democratic Party this year.

I was thinking about what you said the other night regarding local Democrats not taking her up on the offer to update their website. The thing is for a lot of Democrats the past Libertarian status can be a huge red flag, one that a year of being a registered Dem isn’t going to fix. It’s not unheard of in deeply red districts for Libertarians and Republicans to infiltrate the Democratic Party and run candidates only to switch back to their original party if they win in the general. Your local Party might also just be dysfunctional but having been out that way I’d definitely categorize it as hostile territory at best, so I’d just give them time and keep reaching out.
