OK now.
We’ve forgiven A LOT of people on this blog who had some bad bad thoughts about Muslims. Then saw the light. We righteously forget their past & welcome them into our fold.
Why not apply that to Dark.
Where’s William and a comment on forgiveness & welcoming someone who admits failure?

He already has it from me, as much as it matters. His mea culpa is important to me.
But as I said a moment ago, I don’t believe he feels he can change (“repent”) while his father lives. Palpatine twisting Anakin around his little finger because of his fear of his wife dying is as close as I can think of a fictional representation except that it’s combined with a level of emotional abuse by his father that is crippling to him.
