Mine, with second place not even in sight, was a cup of beef broth, certainly from a can or jar, on a hospital tray.

Full disclosure: I had been on total IV feed for three days while being treated for acute pancreatitis. Anything I could actually ingest, even calf’s brains, would have been the food of the gods. Things really are relative.

Biscuits and sausage gravy. Whether it’s homemade gravy, or gravy from a packet, or gravy from a can, I just can’t get enough.
