I’m sure. I so wish you could celebrate without the nagging sense that something might happen. I teach and do semi-regular scenarios—usually at night in bed because it calms me. The scenario that gets me is I’m in my office and I hear shots and screaming. Do I open my door and try to get students in without knowing where the shooter is or do I immediately barricade.

If you don’t know where the shooter is, barricade would be the best option in my opinion. You can’t help your students if you’re dead.
