Sounds like a long-time nut who finally turned his violent fantasies into reality. Not insane, though. He must never leave prison alive ( and I’m not opposed to Capital Punishment for him). However, I will still pray that he comes to repent of his many and grievous sins:

May he, and all those who have allowed their minds to become clouded by the smog of fanaticism, come to fuller understanding of the mission and teachings of Jesus Christ. May they repent of their deeds and find His mercy and forgiveness.
