My husband was trained to sit by growing up in a home with two moms and a sister. It was easier to sit than to put up with their bitching.

This is just as well, because the other side effect of having been the only male in the house is that he’s very bad at housework.

German males are almost all trained by their mothers/girlfriends/wives to sit. It scares me how little resistance they put up.
