I’ll have to recheck avatar-making, it’s been a year. I know I had to make a relatively small (bit-wise) jpg or gif file, and was able to import it directly from my home computer. (Was also surprised that it worked the first try.) There are instructions somewhere around our header. Gee, what kind of graphic could go with “Monet”?

Just in case you’re wondering about the nickname—I played Monet in a play called Defying Gravity a few years ago and in the course of my research learned far more about Monet and Impressionism than I’d ever known before. In addition, I didn’t want to reuse any of my other screen names.
