Algeria is beginning to try to reverse course on Libya:

However, on 1 September, Foreign Minister Medelci backpedaled, saying, “The National Transition Council has announced that it will soon be forming a government representative of all the regions of the country and once it does this we will recognise it.”

Might be too late for that. Algeria has put itself in a very poor position between a pissed off Libya and Morocco, and a very tweaked Tunisia.
