OK, it was speculation with a clue stirred in (not pure), and ignoring the CIA’s opinion of that clue. NOT ‘clear’ evidence.

Dark needs this to be about terrorism because he’s not ready to deal with the concept that hating gay people always leads to this kind of behavior, regardless of which Abusive Sky Dad you listen to.

Because Dark desperately wants to triangulate and make this about foreign ideology because that would be easy and comfortable, and so that we won’t notice that no matter what he says, he votes for people who hate the queers.

Otherwise he might have to think about Ted fucking Cruz and Ron Kevin Swanson (or whatever the name of the “kill the gays pastor” was, that Creepy Ted went on stage with), and their backup band of nutbags who just can’t pretend they’re not fucking gleeful over dead gays shot by a brown person.
