Not that sodomy needs defending, but please remind those folks that about one-fourth of gay male couples don’t even practice anal intercourse, while about one-fourth of heterosexual couples do practice anal sex.

Sex is never as cut and dried as the moralists would like to pretend.

More importantly, why the hell should I care? I understand there are straight couples who dress up as the French Maid and the Naughty Gendarme, and that makes me shudder, but it’s actually not my business. Nor do I spend a moment thinking about it unless someone is kind enough to get drunk at a party and tell me how it saved their marriage. (Which happened once, but I’m only mildly scarred for life.)
