It’s an election year, so of course Democrats who either are in close races or fear that this “scandal” could hurt those who are will be quick to call for his head. TPM had a story yesterday about how Pelosi is still refusing to join the angry mob, but I’m not sure she can really do much besides try to offer him her support. The White House is very likely going to shit can him, either publicly or by privately asking for his resignation, if only to give the appearance of “doing something.”
