Anyway, who said the flag is just a piece of cloth?
It is a symbol for the USA and I rather like it. I always fly one and not because I feel like I have anything to prove. I like watching it wave in the breeze.

One of the things I notice when I’m in the States is the number of flags. They’re everywhere.

As a Canadian I find it a little strange and just a touch off-putting. Having to claim so loudly how much a person loves their country seems excessive and a little false. Protesting too much.
