If Donald Trump makes his speech at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier about his Electoral College win, I’ll be flipping tables and setting them on fire here.

Last year our town invited a recently-retired commander from the US Navy to give a speech; he made his speech about how liberals are trying to force transgender bathrooms down everyone’s throats.

As a village trustee, I got up, turned my back in the middle of the speech, and walked to the farthest corner of the cemetery (where people from the Spanish-American War are buried).

At the next village board meeting I gave a different speech, one suitable for Memorial Day and those buried in the village cemetery. I called on the Cemetery Board never to invite that guy back.
