I should add, Originalism when it comes to Constitutional Law would be less troubling if the process of changing the Constitution were not so difficult. There is an argument to be made that our system of government was well designed for a small nation, such as we were at the founding. But it doesn’t necessarily make a lot of sense for a nation of 350 million spread across a continent.
