And so, here’s the question for the room:

Is this a sideshow sorta thing, typical for a party on the outs, or does anyone think this is the future of conservatism in America?

I’m hoping it’s the former, not the latter, and regard this whole spectacle in much the same way one does certain cousins and uncles of whom one does not customarily speak, but who are, for all that, still invited to Thanksgiving.
