For example, Jews in Poland were more prosperous than Jews anywhere else, they were integrated into the political, judicial and educational establishment, etc. Even more so in Germany.

That is what Hitler and the Nazis rejected- the integration of Jews into mainstream European society.

They couldn’t have exploited antisemitism if it wasn’t still there.
