You’re not losing it - I didn’t post it - found it in the spinoffs around 5 am.

The other thing - I never could figure out how they managed that split password thing. That place had some kick-ass people who knew the kernal like their middle names.

Well, I would imagine you write a little procedure that asks for the password (half of it) then asks for the other half and the procedure combines the character and THEN passes it on to the Kernal.

You wouldn’t have to know anything about the kernal.

Then again, there are many ways to duplicate what you mentioned. It could have been one of many.
