OT - (and I suspect that most have already seen this, but I have to rant anyway).

Senate committee to explore taxing AIG bonuses.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid announced on the Senate floor Tuesday that the tax-writing Senate Finance Committee will pursue a legislative fix in such a way that the “recipients of those bonuses will not be able to keep all their money — and that’s an understatement.”

I really don’t like any of the stimulus, the bailouts, the money being given away, both in handouts and in bonuses, but, the bottom line is the above is just plain wrong.

This is actually a case of a member of Congress who is literally strong-arming a sector of American citizens.

I cannot remember a time when anyone in Washington has made such a blatant, outright nazi-like threat of this nature.

I am really pissed off.
