This is the 41st anniversary of Kent State.

I heard Neil Young this morning talking about how he wrote his song “Ohio”…he said he saw the news, sat down and wrote the song that day, then sang it to Crosby, who got them on a plane to LA where they recorded it over night and Atlantic Records released it the next day - no test pressings or pre-marketing - they just sent it out to the radio stations as fast as they could…24 hours start to finish, and within a couple of days it was all over the airwaves.
