Sheila “Martian” Lee is certainly not immune to legitimate criticism or even ridicule but almost none of the Breitbart comments focus on that. Only one mentions the Martian flag fiasco, for example. Instead they focus on her race and physical appearance (the latter heavily tinged with racism), as though to use her as an exemplar of, and rationale for, a more general hostility.

I don’t like to pimp for the Magical Balance Fairy, but GOP congress-critters say similarly foolish things ever day. Louis Gohmert (R-Oil) quotes David Barton in nearly all of his public addresses, for example. That is Martian flag level stupid built in automatically.
