May keeps saying “this is what we’re doing and Brussels will have to accept it” with a straight face (like the EU is going to go “oh, ok” - they won’t) and the hardliners want to kill the country completely.

This is an amazing shit show watching a country slit its own throat.

At least here we still have people fighting against Trump. It’s like everyone in the UK is helping make the slice deeper.

Many of my students simply can’t wrap their heads around it; why would a prosperous nation willfully choose to commit economic suicide?
