Not exactly an isekai anime but a lot of fun — Bofuri or, (deep breath) “I Don’t Want to Get Hurt, so I’ll Max Out My Defense”. First-time gamer girl breaks new VR game, breaks the other players and goes on to break the game developers too. Sweet, funny, horrific in a hilarious way now and then. It’s a big-grin series.

RomCom Series:
Toradora!

This series has the best fight scene in an anime ever, even though it’s a high-school rom-com, between two characters who have politely loathed each other for ages and finally they just say “fuck it” and go for it, hammer and tongs (episode 16 if you want to look it up).

Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai and the movie Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dreaming Girl

Finally, a male rom-com character who isn’t a blubbering mass of jelly when he encounters a GURRRL! I love the fact he ends up sleeping with the girl in episode 2 and it only gets better after that.
