People need art, no question. What the free market is for, is to answer the question: “Do people need your art?”

This is not a question of who need what. I don’t know a single actor or artist in the Denver area that believes that they should be doing art on the public dole. Take it from someone who has worked, part time, in the regional art scene for over 40 years.
