Newt’s got an 8 point lead nationally.

The Republican establishment is probably going insane just about now. The whole idea of having Iowa and New Hampshire start off the roll call is to be able to guide the outcome. But with the Tea Party partying hard, that doesn’t work so well.

Dick Armey is desperately trying to control his monster and failing. If, that’s if spelled i f, FLA goes for Newt, the Tea Party will feel their power in the face of the Establishment. The Establishment is trying hard to kill off Newt now and using all its powder in the process. Hard to say what they could do after FLA that they didn’t already try in FLA. You can’t roll out Bob Dole more than once.

Anyways, the GOP deserves Newt.
