People like them always argued that most anti-semitism was on the “left”. Now they’re experiencing the hatred they ignored as long as it was directed at others.

The basis of their claim to philo-semitism was that they really liked Jews that acted in a very specific way…and all other kinds of Jews were bad, Not Real Jews but instead Secular Leftist Jews…who could be freely tarred with slightly-diluted anti-semitic tropes.

It was never more than half a fig leaf.
