I had a confrontation with one last night on Facebook. “Tim Kaine is for TPP, and in favor of “right to work laws” and blah, blah. When someone pointed him at Jim Wright’s long list of all the man has accomplished (and his wife is no slouch either), the response was, “all will be revealed” and I asked him “Like What?” He explained to stupid girl me that “all will be revealed meant that stuff was there we didn’t know yet, duh.” No, he acted like he had top secret info that no one else did. That’s when I bowed out. Fuck these idiots. The older ones are sometimes union guys, like this dude, and they think they automatically know more than anyone else about what’s good for the country. Over it. Done.

The younger ones often are not even registered to vote, I know half a dozen in their early to mid 20’s that have never so much as bothered, but they think their Facebook petitions and passing shit around online matters. Or they go to a protest and yell some and that means they fought back against “the establishment”. Jesus, I don’t remember hippies in the 60s being this fucking naive and completely detached from knowing how government is supposed to work.

I thought Kaine announced he was not supporting TPP yesterday. And that he BLOCKED right to work laws (he works well with both labor and capital)?

Frankly, I’m getting a lot of flat out lies from so-called progressives….
