Thanksgiving is falling on Hannukah for the first and only time in American history (the last time Hannukah was this early in the secular calendar, Thanksgiving didn’t actually exist).

The next time it’s supposed to happen? Thousands of years from now.

And we’re to think that this combined holiday is going to lead to bad things? Really? It’s a once in a lifetime type event. If someone wants to try and combine food traditions of both holidays, go for it. It’s just one time.

This person also seems to have issues with trying to explain different holiday traditions of different faiths to her kids because she’s Jewish and her husband isn’t. Get over it. Explaining these differences is part of your job description and teaching your kids (or anyone else at the table, for that matter).

WTF is wrong with this person? She needs anger management therapy or something.
