I live in Arizona and after the attacks on Ethnic cultural studies programs in the high schools, the SB1070 passage and the stories about Sheriff Joe ignoring calls from the hispanic population in his jurisdiction, it’s not as if there isn’t some precedence for the feeling. naturally not all Arizonans feel this way, but we sure have a tendency to nominate and elect those that are.
