Yes. This is what I have been looking for. The “leaderless movement” model of Occupy (and to a lesser extent of Black Lives Matter) do not end up actually accomplishing their goals because nobody will do the work of politics.

Occupy was worse. I was involved in one of the planning committees for Occupy Greensboro and it was a damned nightmare. Every person with a grudge or a cause was hijacking everything we did. That times a thousand at the New York camp. Fucking drum circles and hemp oil.

We need a take a new look at Rules for Radicals and learn long term resistance while also taking political power. Not just marching in the street…taking power.

Brittany Packnett & Deray McKesson did meet with Obama.
