Not entirely. The Cheneys and a few other outliers aren’t going along. I think they have inside information on the avalanche of reckoning that will fall on the GQP. If anyone has deep dirt on sleazy Repugs and their foreign allies, it is Darth Dick. It could be something as as simple as foreknowledge of a major anti-Repug shift by corporate interests. There are also big time grubbers who fear the chaos and even violence that would result from a GQP power grab. I know one fatcat who was scared shitless by the 1-06 coup attempt. He doesn’t give a damn about democracy, but he is terrified of things like massive international sanctions if a similar attempt were to succeed.
