Uh. No. Did you not notice what happened when the last round of Bush stimulus checks were distributed to the public? They were saved. Used to pay mortgages that were past due. Used to pay off credit card bills. Put in savings accounts for later. During a recession people don’t run out to buy a new iPod. They become thrifty.

No, I didn’t notice. But it does seem that the people who needed it the most (who are less responsible with their money) got the most stimulus. Just like this time around. And you call that ‘thrify?’ You give people more money and they learn to be more responsible with it?
